A denture that stays put
Two to four implants in the jaw hold the denture with small snap fittings. It still comes out at night to clean, but during the day it does not move, and you stop thinking about it.
- No adhesive, no slipping when you laugh or eat.
- Bite into an apple or a steak again; chewing force is several times that of a loose lower denture.
- Implants keep the jawbone working, so the face does not sink the way it does under a conventional denture.
Converting your existing denture, and cost
Often your current denture can be fitted with the snap housings once the implants have healed, which keeps the cost down. If it is worn, a new one is made to fit the implants precisely.
Planning starts with a CT scan at our Woodland office. Dr. Harlovjeet Singh places the implants here, with IV sedation available.
- Implants, fittings and denture are quoted together, in writing.
- PPO plans usually contribute toward the denture; CareCredit and Cherry cover the balance monthly.
- Want nothing removable at all? See All-on-4.

Questions people ask
Can my existing denture be made to snap in?
Often, yes, if it fits well and is in good condition. Housings are added to the underside.
How many implants do I need?
Two for a lower denture. Uppers usually need four because the bone is softer.
