The most common type. Crowns on both adjacent teeth support an artificial tooth in the middle. Suitable when healthy teeth exist on both sides of the gap.
Supported by a crown on only one adjacent tooth. Used when there is only one natural tooth next to the gap.
Uses metal or porcelain wings bonded to the back of adjacent teeth. More conservative as it does not require crowns on neighboring teeth.
Supported by dental implants rather than natural teeth. The most stable option for replacing multiple missing teeth.
Extremely durable and gentle on opposing teeth. Best for out-of-sight molars where appearance is less of a priority.
The tooth is gently shaped to make room for the crown. For a bridge, the two adjacent teeth on either side of the gap are also prepared. Local anesthesia ensures you are comfortable throughout.
